The Israeli police forces arrested the parents of the Jerusalemite martyr, Muhammad Shehab, who carried out the run-over attack in Ramla City on Sunday evening.
The police forces stormed Al-Ram town, north of Occupied Jerusalem, and raided the martyr Shehab’s family home.
Later, his mother and father were taken into custody by Israeli forces, along with a young man who lived nearby the home.
Shehab was martyred after he rammed his car into Israeli soldiers in Ramla City in central Israel (1948 occupied Palestine) on Sunday.
Four Israeli soldiers were injured, two seriously, in the car-ramming operation that happened on a major highway near a military base in northern Ramla.
Palestinian factions welcomed the Ramla operation, stressing that it is a natural response to the brutal genocidal war and the heinous massacres committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The Hamas Movement stressed that “the heroic complex ramming operation in the occupied city of Ramla is a natural response to the brutal war of genocide, the heinous massacres committed against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the campaigns of intimidation, oppression, and terrorism in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, which the terrorist occupation government continues to implement, in flagrant violation of all international laws, resolutions, and treaties.”
In its turn, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine hailed “the heroic operation against the occupation soldiers in the occupied city of Ramla.”
“The operation represents a victory for the blood of the martyrs and a quick and bold response from our people to the ongoing Israeli massacres.”
