Euro-Med: Israel’s ongoing bloody attacks in Gaza highlight international failure

The Euro-Med Monitor for Human Rights affirmed that the international community has failed to stop the ongoing genocide for the tenth consecutive month in the Gaza Strip.

The human rights Monitor said in a press statement on Sunday that the repeated direct and bloody Israeli attacks and the bombing of United Nations facilities one after the other, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians at once, is a glaring expression of this international failure.

It stressed that the UN Security Council and the General Assembly must act urgently to compel Israel to stop its systematic and widespread military attacks against the forced displacement centers in the Gaza Strip.

The Euro-Med Monitor added, “Israel is systematically and repeatedly violating the principles of distinction, proportionality and necessity, and does not consider the lives of civilians at all.”

It called for an emergency session of the UN Security Council to discuss the implications of the systematic crimes against civilians in Gaza, including the forcibly displaced, and to support efforts to hold those responsible for committing them accountable.

It concluded, “We urge the International Criminal Court to expedite the issuance of arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant, and to expand the circle of investigation into individual criminal responsibility for the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip to include all those responsible.” It called for the issuance of arrest warrants against those responsible for these crimes and to recognize and deal with them (the crimes committed by Israel) as a blatant crime of genocide.

The Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre against the displaced and civilian citizens in the Al-Nuseirat camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip, on Sunday evening, which is the third in less than 24 hours.

Palestinian medical sources said that 13 martyrs were killed and 71 were injured in an Israeli bombardment of the Abu Arjan school of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency UNRWA, which shelters thousands of displaced persons in Nuseirat.

The genocide war on the Gaza Strip continues for the 282nd consecutive day, amid the ongoing massacres targeting citizens and the displaced in various parts of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with a total blockade and a starvation policy that is ravaging the Palestinian citizens, particularly in the northern areas of the Strip.
