A Palestinian young man was martyred at dawn Tuesday during clashes between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and local youths in the West Bank City of Bireh.
According to local sources, 20-year-old Ahmed Sultan was killed during clashes in al-Balou neighborhood in Bireh City.
The sources added that Israeli soldiers detained the martyr’s body for several hours before handing him over to an ambulance crew, who transferred him to Palestine Hospital.
However, eyewitnesses told the director of Palestine Hospital that Israeli soldiers detained the young man and took him to the illegal settlement of Beit El where they executed him with bullets in his chest and abdomen.
The clashes broke out when Israeli forces stormed the city and carried out raids on exchange stores.
Martyr Sultan is originally from Gaza, but he lived with his family in Bireh.
