Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) has said that the number of Palestinian journalists killed since the war on the Gaza Strip started has climbed to 160 martyrs after journalist Mohamed Mishmish, director of Al-Aqsa Voice Radio’s programs, was killed in a new Israeli massacre in central Gaza.
Journalist Mishmish was among 23 citizens who were massacred in an Israeli strike on al-Razi School in an-Nuseirat on Tuesday. 73 others were also injured in the same attack.
Israeli attacks on Gaza have taken an unprecedented toll on Palestinian journalists since the war started following the cross-border operation that was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.
