As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 286 on Thursday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.
According to media sources, five civilians were martyred following Israeli attacks near the University College and at the junction of al-Abdul-Al in al-Jalaa street in Gaza City.
A woman was reportedly injured when Israeli forces opened fire at her, although she was carrying a white flag this morning, during her attempt to flee from Gaza City to central Gaza following Israeli evacuation orders.
Eyewitnesses said that the woman was bleeding and there were attempts to evacuate her from the place.
Meanwhile, displaced people who were able to reach Deir al-Balah City in central Gaza said the Israeli army set up a security gate to control the movement of citizens, which has cameras and lights up green for those allowed to pass and red for those who are barred from crossing before shooting them dead.
Eyewitnesses said that there were a number of martyrs near this gate, adding that the Israeli army killed a citizen driving an animal-drawn cart in the area before a tank ran over him.
The civil defense service in Gaza reported that three civilians were killed when the Israeli army attacked the car they were aboard in al-Baraka area in Deir al-Balah.
Seven other citizens were massacred and dozens were injured when the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Abu Rakab in az-Zawaida area in central Gaza.
The Israeli army also bombed the Abdullah Azzam Mosque in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing one citizen and injuring 15 others.
Two children were killed when the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of al-Ramli near Palestine Square in central Gaza, while four other kids and one woman were injured in an Israeli attack on an apartment in an-Nuseirat refugee camp.
More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.
