Several Palestinians kidnaped, others injured in IOF raids in W. Bank

A number of Palestinian citizens were kidnaped and others were injured on Sunday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out dawn and morning raids in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a university student called Ibtihal al-Amer, the daughter of a detained journalist, from her home in Kafr Qallil town in eastern Nablus.

According to the student’s family, Israeli soldiers stormed the house and tore up pictures of her father before taking her with them.

The IOF also kidnaped three citizens during raids in the villages of Talfit, Qusin and Beit Wazan in Nablus province.

In Qalqilya, the IOF stormed neighborhoods in the city and kidnaped the father and brother of a wanted citizen to pressure him to turn himself in.

The IOF also kidnaped the father of another wanted citizen and interrogated members of his family during the same raid in Qalqilya City.

In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped a citizen at a military checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba and another one from Bani Naim town.

The IOF also raided homes in different areas of southern al-Khalil, with no reported arrests.

In Bethlehem, the IOF opened fire at a teenager at a checkpoint near Jab’a village and injured him in his knee before a Red Crescent ambulance crew transported him to the Hussein Hospital in Beit Jala.

A young citizen was reportedly taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Beit Tamer village in eastern Bethlehem.

The IOF also stormed other areas of Bethlehem and injured two young men during physical attacks on them in al-Khader town and Battir village.
