GAZA, (PIC)
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed on Monday several massacres in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, shortly after the IOF issued new evacuation orders, affecting more than 200,000 citizens in the city.
Medical sources reported that the death toll of the Israeli bombing has risen since this morning to 35 martyrs in addition to 80 wounded. Moe martyrs and wounded continue to arrive at the Nasser Medical Complex, the sources added.
The PIC correspondent explained that Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeted several Palestinian homes, leading to a large number of martyrs and injured.
Local sources told the PIC correspondent that the IOF issued evacuation orders for Palestinians in the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis, in addition to most of the neighborhoods in central Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, the IOF intensified its aerial and artillery bombardment at a time when citizens were trying to move towards the west of the city, leading to a rise in the death toll.
Our correspondent reported that the IOF raided Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, amid violent bombardment.
The Civil Defense announced in a press statement that one of its ambulances was hit while heading to an area that had been bombed in Bani Suhaila, explaining that the bombing injured two workers with moderate injuries, and they were transferred to Nasser Hospital for treatment.
In a previous statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that among the martyrs were 6 children, 4 women, and more than 36 injuries, including serious cases.
The Nasser Medical Complex in the city called on residents “to urgently donate blood” for the injured amid a severe shortage of blood units.
According to the new evacuation orders, which were attached to a picture of the residential blocks required to be evacuated, the Israeli occupation army reduced the so-called “safe zone” in the Al-Mawasi area west of in Khan Yunis.
With the escalation of the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, the IOF turned the Al-Mawasi area into a displacement hotspot crowded with hundreds of thousands of citizens, lacking the basic necessities of life such as water, electricity, or toilets amid insufficient humanitarian aid for the increasing numbers of the displaced.
