Media activist and political researcher Haider Al-Masdar was martyred on Monday in a bombing that targeted tents housing members of the press at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital courtyard in Deir al-Balah city.
The Palestinian Media Forum mourned the journalist Al-Masdar, bringing the total number of Palestinian journalists killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza to 163 since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7 last year.
The Media Forum called on the international authorities concerned with protecting journalists to adhere to their obligations to protect Palestinian journalists and hold Israel accountable for its continuous crimes against them.
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC), mourned the journalist martyr Haider, recalling his scientific contributions and research publications in the field of political propaganda and his many press interviews with the PIC in this field.
The PIC called for taking a serious action to stop targeting Palestinian journalists, and to guarantee their protection and freedom.
