The Islamic Christian Authority for Patronizing Jerusalem and Holy Sites has warned of social media posts belonging to an extremist Jewish group inciting settlers to defile the Aqsa Mosque en masse to mark what they call “the breach of Jerusalem’s walls.”
In a statement on Tuesday, the Islamic Christian Authority said it is deeply concerned to see such an unprecedented escalation of Israeli violations at the Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to impose new faits accomplis and change the religious and legal status quo at the Islamic holy site.
The Islamic Christian Authority urged the Palestinian masses to intensify their presence at the Aqsa mosque as of today to protect it against intended mass break-ins by Jewish settlers.
