A Palestinian child succumbed on Tuesday to injuries inflicted by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) gunfire in Jenin in the West Bank.
Medical sources affirmed that the child Saif Ziad Omair, 13, succumbed to critical injuries he sustained about two weeks ago in an IOF raid into Maithalun town in Jenin.
The Israeli forces have been regularly conducting raids in the occupied West Bank over the past few years, which escalated with the start of the war on Gaza last October. Palestinians have also faced violent attacks from Jewish settlers.
Earlier Tuesday, five Palestinian citizens, including a mother and her daughter, were martyred in an Israeli drone attack in Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, while two others were martyred in al-Khalil.
Local media sources said that an Israeli drone bombed a house in Tulkarem camp, killing three resistance commanders, including Ashraf Nafi from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and Mohamed Awad from al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
In addition to those martyrs, Red Crescent ambulance crews evacuated the bodies of a mother and her daughter, who were killed during the same drone attack.
