The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Thursday a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped four young men from Abwein town in northern Ramallah and another one from Silwad town in eastern Ramallah.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF wreaked havoc on a parked car belonging to a local resident in Abwein town.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces stormed Beit Ummar town and kidnaped five citizens from their homes.
Local sources said that the IOF raided several homes in Beit Ummar and clashed with local youths in its streets.
In Tulkarem, the IOF broke into and ransacked many homes in the city, especially in the suburbs of Shuweika and Aktaba and an-Naalwa neighborhood, assaulted members of families and kidnaped journalist Hazem Nasser.
In Nablus, a heavy build-up of traffic happened in both directions of a main road in the morning after the IOF closed the Beit Furik checkpoint.
