A horde of extremist Jewish settlers burned and vandalized Palestinian-owned vehicles in Qalqas village, south of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank, at dawn Monday.
Media sources said that before dawn, armed settlers scrawled racist graffiti on vehicles, and burned others in a salvage car yard owned by the Salhab family in Qalqas village.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces stormed Dura town, southwest of al-Khalil, and ransacked the town’s cultural center.
Local sources said that soldiers rampaged through the center and seized and tore photos and banners of the two prisoners, Mahmoud Abu Saleh and Rateb Al-Heribat, whose release is expected on Tuesday after spending 22 years in Israeli jails.
