Spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Muhammad al-Hajj Musa, said that the Israeli settlers’ protests against the arrest of Israeli soldiers involved in torturing Palestinian prisoners to death in the “Sde Teiman” prison confirm Israeli racism.
In a press release issued on Monday, Musa considered the statements made by Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, regarding these criminals as heroes, as blatant incitement to kill Palestinian prisoners in detention centers.
He further called on the Palestinian people to mobilize in defense of the prisoners and to respond to these crimes.
Musa further called on all international institutions to intervene quickly to put an end to the systematic torture in Israeli detention centers, and to prosecute Ben Gvir on charges of committing crimes against humanity under international criminal law.
