The Hamas Movement confirmed that the Israeli destruction of Khan Yunis confirms the policy of genocide, destruction, and the elimination of civilian life in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued Tuesday evening, Hamas said the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Khan Yunis revealed “horrific scenes of widespread destruction.”
“The silence of the Arab regimes and the international community’s inaction to take effective measures to stop the Israeli crimes and hold its Nazi leaders accountable encouraged the Israeli occupation to commit more brutal crimes that threaten regional and international peace and security.”
Hamas called on Arab and Islamic countries and the United Nations to “break their silence and inaction, and to assume their political and legal responsibilities in stopping the ongoing Israeli crimes and hold Israeli leaders accountable for their violations against humanity.”
Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) said that the Israeli occupation army’s eight-day ground operation in the eastern areas of Khan Yunis killed 255 Palestinian civilians and wounded more than 300 others, adding that at least 30 other people are still missing.
