A Palestinian citizen was shot dead after he carried out a stabbing and shooting operation that killed two Israelis and injured at least two others on Sunday morning in Holon area in Tel Aviv.
According to the Hebrew media, the Israeli police initially said four people were wounded, but later medical sources confirmed that a woman and a man succumbed to their injuries, while a third man was in critical condition and another one suffered a moderate injury.
The police said the Palestinian was “neutralized” and that a search was underway for other suspects in Holon, where the incident occurred.
The Palestinian martyr was identified as Ammar Awda from Salfit City in the central West Bank.
Media reports said that the operation was only a stabbing attack while others said it involved stabbing and shooting.
