A number of citizens, including a foreign solidarity activist, were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Nablus and Qalqilya.

In Nablus, a number of citizens suffered from tear gas inhalation during confrontations that erupted after the IOF stormed the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, where two citizens were arrested, and live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas were fired.

A foreign solidarity activist was also shot with live ammunition during the IOF quelling of the weekly march organized around Mount Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a 40-year-old foreign solidarity activist was shot with live ammunition in the thigh in the town of Beita and was transferred to the hospital.

On the other hand, IOF soldiers stormed the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, leading to the outbreak of confrontations with the citizens. Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters near the Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque after the Friday prayer, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with the citizens, without any reports of injuries.

Several areas of the West Bank witness weekly events rejecting the Israeli settlement activity, which trigger clashes with the IOF soldiers.

Data from the Israeli human rights movement “Peace Now” indicate the existence of about 666,000 settlers and 145 settlements and 140 random settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
