The United Nations Human Rights Rapporteur on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, said Israel has been committing genocide crimes against the Palestinians in one school after another in the Gaza Strip, stressing that “the killing outside the law cannot continue without accountability.”
Israel is committing genocide with US and European weapons, amid a state of indifference by all “civilized nations”, Albanese underscored.
In a post on her account on X, Albanese pointed to the Israeli occupation’s long history of committing assassination crimes against the Palestinians inside and outside the occupied Palestinian territories.
Albanese stressed the need for accountability as well as independent and transparent investigations to be part of the road to peace.
