207 UNRWA team members have been killed in Gaza since the war began, including in the line of duty, the UN agency said in a tweet on X on Monday.
It added, “They were engineers, teachers, medical staff. They were humanitarian workers. On World Humanitarian Day and every day, we remember and pay tribute to them all.”
UNRWA had said in a post on August 9 that the number of its employees killed in the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year had reached 205.
The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza had so far killed more than 40,000 citizens and wounded more than 92,000 others
