The targeting of a humanitarian aid convoy belonging to an American relief group operating in Gaza by the IOF yesterday, despite having obtained prior coordination from the IOF, is a repeated war crime, the Hamas Movement said in a statement issued on Friday.
According to the press release, the attack aims at forcing humanitarian organizations to stop their relief activities for the Palestinian people as part of the genocide and ethnic cleansing crime that it has been committing in the Gaza Strip for almost 11 months.
“Despite the relief organization’s confirmation that the 4 martyrs who were killed in the occupation’s bombing of the convoy were workers of the company transporting aid, the IOF insists on falsely claiming that they were armed, a false claim that it always uses to justify its blatant crimes against relief workers and humanitarian organizations.”
The Movement called on the international community and the UN to condemn this repeated and deliberate Israeli crime against the Palestinian people and relief organizations, and to take punitive measures to deter the Israeli occupation from continuing its crimes in Gaza.
Hamas also called on the US administration to stop covering up Israeli crimes, including the crime of targeting an American relief organization operating in Gaza.
