Two Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred and four Jewish settlers were seriously injured in two operations late Friday night in the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion in the occupied West Bank.

According to the Hebrew media, a Palestinian gunman entered Karmei Tzur settlement and opened fire at settlers injuring a number of them before he was shot dead.

In the illegal settlement of and Karmei Tzur near Bethlehem, an explosion happened when a car exploded at a gas station.

Israeli news websites said two car bombs were detonated in the Gush Etzion area of the West Bank last night, while other reports talked about killing a Palestinian near Karmei Tzur after he attempted to carry out a car-ramming operation.
