Israeli occupation forces (IOF) compelled Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in Jenin refugee camp on Thursday afternoon to pave the way for blowing up a mosque in the area.
Local sources reported that the IOF forced six families to leave their houses in the Al-Damaj and Jorat al-Dahab neighborhoods, directing them to travel to villages west of Jenin using ambulance vehicles.
The sources explained that a number of Israeli military vehicles escorted by a bulldozer besieged the al-Ansar Mosque and asked the families living next to it to evacuate their homes to blow it up.
The same sources confirmed that the IOF, since the beginning of its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, have forcibly evacuated hundreds of citizens from their homes.
