The Hamas Movement has said that what Australia’s ABC News affirmed about Israel’s killing of its own people under the “Hannibal Directive” during the October 7th events last year vindicated further that the Israeli occupation government lied about what happened on that day.
In a statement on Sunday, Hamas said that the investigative report of this Australian news outlet joined many similar reports that already talked about the killing of dozens of Israelis by Israeli gunfire.
Hamas affirmed that the false Israeli narrative about the October 7th events aimed to demonize the Palestinian people and their resistance and to justify the genocidal war on Gaza.
“This investigation confirms that Netanyahu and his army did not care about their own citizens who were shot dead by their army,” Hamas said.
The Movement called on the international community to take action to stop Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza and hold Israeli leaders accountable for their crimes against innocent civilians.
