The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Yahya al-Sinwar, congratulated on Tuesday the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on his re-election as the President of Algeria and regaining the trust of the Algerian people to lead the country.
In his congratulation statement, al-Sinwar pointed to the heroic epic the Palestinian people are waging despite the ongoing Israeli war of genocide, and the barbarism of the Nazi Zionist occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem and 1948 occupied Palestine in violation of the international laws and conventions.
The Hamas chief renewed his appreciation for the Algerian role in standing with the Palestinian people and defending their rights in international forums, calling on the Algerians to continue and develop their supportive position to enhance the Palestinians’ resilience and resistance to be able to stop the brutal aggression, defeat the Israeli occupation and achieve the dream of the people of liberation, return, and the establishment of the independent state of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.
