Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Thursday morning three houses in the West Bank, under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

In the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, the IOF demolished an under-construction house, claiming it was not licensed.

The mayor of Deir Ballut, Samir Nimr, revealed that the house belongs to the citizen, Muhammad Hayel, and has an area of 200 square meters, noting that it is located northwest of the town in the area called Dhahr Rejal.

In Bethlehem, the IOF demolished a Palestinian house in the village of al-Walaja, northwest of the city, in addition to destroying a tent and two floors in a building. The IOF reportedly uprooted trees in the area.

Local sources reported that the IOF stormed the Ein Juwaizah area in the village of al-Walaja and began knocking down a house owned by the Palestinian citizen Basem Abed Rabbo under the pretext of lacking a construction license.

In al-Khalil, the Israeli occupation authorities, seized a land of 767 square meters in the village of Um al-Khair, in the Messafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, for the establishment of a security wall around Karmiel settlement.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli settlers carried out, in August alone, 204 attacks on Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of two citizens in Jit, east of Qalqilya, and Wadi Rahhal in the Bethlehem Governorate.

Since the outbreak of the war of genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks carried out by armed settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank have escalated, amid intensified Israeli military campaigns in its cities, towns, and camps.
