The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that a 23-year-old Palestinian youth was killed in Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) shooting near al-Khalil on Thursday. It identified the young man as Salah Shawahin.
Meanwhile, Hebrew media earlier claimed that a Palestinian youth approached an IOF military position in al-Khalil and tried to carry out a stabbing attack.
The IOF said in a statement that a Palestinian with a knife approached a military site and was shot dead by the soldiers.
