The Hamas Movement has called for escalating all forms of resistance against the Israeli occupation and participating in the Aqsa Flood battle to curb its aggression, which expanded in the region and targeted other countries.

In a statement on the first anniversary of the Aqsa Flood battle, Hamas described the October 7th cross-border operation as a “historic stage of the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation and a natural response to the Zionist plots targeting the national cause.”

Hamas said that the Israeli occupation forces committed, over the past year, the most heinous crimes and massacres and waged the most horrific genocidal war against the Palestinian people in contemporary history.

“We confirm to the entire world that there will be no compromise on our people’s legitimate right to resist the occupation with all means,” Hamas said.

The Movement belittled the impact of the Israeli assassination operations that targeted resistance leaders in recent months on the performance of the resistance. “Such assassinations will only increase the resistance’s strength, resilience and its determination to confront the occupation and its aggressive plans until it is defeated and eradicated.”

Regarding the mediators’ efforts to reach a ceasefire and prisoner swap deal, Hamas affirmed that it responded positively to several proposals in this regard and repeatedly stressed the need for an end to Israel’s aggression and the withdrawal of its forces from the entire Gaza Strip.

Hamas held the US administration fully responsible for the ongoing war crimes and genocide in Gaza and urged it to stop its bias in favor of the Israeli occupation regime.

Hamas said that Israel’s expansion of its aggression against other Arab and Islamic countries proved that “it is posing a real threat to the region.”

“There is an urgent need to deter this rogue entity, isolate it, boycott it, and stop all the efforts to integrate it into our region and normalize relations with it,” the Movement added.
