The Hamas Movement said the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) continued its policy of misleading the public opinion on the alleged entry of humanitarian aid into the northern Gaza Strip through publishing false unfounded news and reports claiming that trucks of aid have been delivered to all areas of the Strip.
The Movement said in a press statement on Saturday, “The truth is that very few and limited aid has entered Gaza City which is a disaster area and needs aid as well.”
It confirmed that no humanitarian aid has entered North Gaza governorate for more than two weeks, especially the town and camp of Jabalia and its vicinity.
Hamas called on journalists in the Arab and international media outlets to expose the Israeli media’s misinformation and false claims and propaganda about aid delivery into the Strip.
Since September 30, no aid trucks carrying food, water or medicines have entered into northern Gaza, according to the UN.
The northern Gaza Strip and Jabalia camp in particular have been under tightened Israeli siege for fifteen days amid violent air and artillery shelling as well as a complete failure of the health system.
The Israeli military operation in Jabalia has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 500 people, according to Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.
