A Palestinian young man was martyred last night after an Israeli military jeep ran over him during a raid in Anabta town, east of Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, a young man called Kareem Mazeed was riding his motorbike on the main road in Anabta on Saturday night when an Israeli army jeep deliberately rammed into him.
Medical sources said that the young man suffered serious injuries in his head in the ramming attack.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed Anabta town through the eastern checkpoint of Annab, patrolled its roads, and embarked on intercepting and chasing civilian cars before one of the jeeps ran over the young man.
A general strike was declared in the town in mourning for the young man.
A funeral for the young martyr and an angry march in protest at the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza will be held today in the town, according to local sources.
