The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented on Sunday Palestinian farmers and activists from harvesting olive crops in two villages in Salfit and Ramallah, and bulldozed a swath of land in Nablus

According to local sources, the IOF prevented farmers from the family of Samara al-Ahmed from collecting olives from their grove in Wadi al-Attrash area, northeast of Kafr ad-Dik in western Salfit.

In eastern Ramallah, Israeli soldiers and settlers attacked volunteers and activists as they tried to enter Burqa village to help local farmers in their olive grove and protect them against Israeli attacks.

Local sources said that about 200 Palestinian and foreign activists tried to enter Burqa village before Israeli soldiers escorting settlers barred them from entering the village and showered them with stun grenades to force them to go back.

Burqa villagers are repeatedly exposed to attacks and harassment by soldiers and settlers, especially during the olive season.

In Nablus, the Israeli army bulldozed a swath of Palestinian-owned land near the main entrance of Sebastia town, north of the West Bank, as part of efforts to Judaize and seize the ancient site in the area.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army blocked with mounds of dirt and rocks the road connecting the popular neighborhood of Nablus City with Asira ash-Shamaliya town, forcing the local residents to use other rough routes to reach their destinations.
