The Hamas Movement said that the “Israeli killing and terrorist machine has transformed hospitals in Gaza into battlegrounds” in which Israeli occupation forces (IOF) practiced most heinous genocide crimes.
The Movement said in a statement on Thursday evening, “besieging and bombing hospitals is an integrated war crime committed by the fascist Israeli occupation government before full sight of the entire world in violation of all laws.”
“The Israeli occupation army has been expanding its brutal offensive against our people in the beleaguered northern Gaza Strip, by imposing a blockade on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia Project and targeting it with heavy air and artillery shelling while inhabited with the wounded, patients, medical staff, and hundreds of displaced families,” Hamas added.
Hamas called on the international community, the United Nations, and its institutions, led by the UN Security Council, to take urgent action to oblige Israel to stop its attacks and crimes against defenseless civilians, especially in shelters and hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since early Thursday, 29 citizens were martyred in Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip, 23 of them in central and southern Gaza.
