Israeli occupation forces continued their bloody war on Lebanon for the 34th consecutive day on Saturday, launching airstrikes and artillery shelling on various areas across the country, alongside a ground incursion into several southern villages amid fierce resistance from Hezbollah.

Israeli aircraft carried out two airstrikes on the towns of al-Majdal and Baaflieh and renewed their airstrikes targeting the towns of Douris, Ansar, and Brital in the vicinity of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, as well as the city of Nabatiyeh and Tuffahita in southern Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes conducted five airstrikes on the southern suburb of Beirut on Friday evening, with media sources reporting that at least one strike targeted the Laylaki area in the suburb. They also bombed the towns of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa, Sarifa, and al-Mansouri in the Tyre district, as well as the towns of Zabbqin and Shihine in southern Lebanon.

UNIFIL forces announced their withdrawal from a site in al-Dahiyeh in southern Lebanon after Israeli forces fired at it. Despite the pressures on the mission, peacekeeping forces remain in their positions and continue their duties.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said on Friday that the Israeli aggression has resulted in over 2,593 martyrs and 12,119 injured since the onset of the attacks on October 8, 2023.
