The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in different areas of the West Bank on Sunday.

According to local sources in the West Bank, Israeli forces stationed on a hill overlooking Qusra town, south of Nablus, opened fire at olive farmers during their presence in a grove in the southern area of the town.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the shooting attack, which forced the farmers to leave their grove.

Chief of the town municipality Hani Awda said that the IOF and settlers try on a daily basis to terrorize Qusra farmers and force them to leave their fields, especially during their work in olive groves.

Awda affirmed that hordes of settlers already destroyed olive trees and stole crops in recent weeks in Qusra town, pointing out that the town is encircled by five illegal settlements and outposts that were built on seized lands.

In another incident, a horde of settlers escorted by soldiers attacked olive farmers in the western area of Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, and forced them to leave their groves.

This was the fifth time in recent days the Israeli army and settlers forced olive farmers in Sebastia to leave their lands and prevented them from harvesting crops.

In southern al-Khalil, a group of settlers assaulted a Palestinian shepherd as he was grazing sheep in Susya village, while other settlers stole olives from a grove in a nearby area belonging to al-Nawajaa family.

The IOF prevents local residents of Masafer Yatta area in southern al-Khali from harvesting their olive crops at the pretext of their location near settlements or closed military zones, while allowing settlers to steal olives from Palestinian groves.
