A Palestinian citizen was injured on Monday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in Tulkarem, north of the West Bank.
According to the Red Crescent, its paramedics provided a citizen suffering from a bullet injury in his leg with first aid before transferring him to a hospital in Tulkarem City for medical assistance.
The IOF opened fire at the citizen during his presence near the gate of Baqa ash-Sharqiyya town in the northeast of Tulkarem.
In a separate incident, bulldozers belonging to the Israeli army continued today to bulldoze vast tracts of Palestinian-owned land in Azzun town, east of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.
Local sources said that the IOF started a few days ago to bulldoze several dunums of land in the northern area of Azzun town belonging to local residents in order to carry out a settlement project.
