Five Lebanese citizens were martyred and 10 others were injured on Monday in an Israeli military airstrike that targeted a residential building in the Al-Raml neighborhood in the city of Tyre, south of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, according to the National News Agency (NNA).
NNA pointed out that Israeli attacks on the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil lasted from last night until Monday morning, adding that Israeli warplanes bombed a building in the city of Tyre near the Al-Jawad restaurant, leading to martyrs and injuries, while civil defense teams are still searching for missing people under the rubble.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling targeted several Lebanese towns with no injuries reported.
For its part, Hezbollah announced bombing Kiryat Shmona settlement in northern Israel with a barrage of missiles on Monday, a day after launching an evacuation warning asking the remaining settlers in it to leave after declaring it a military target.
