The Hamas Movement welcomes “the heroic” run-over and stabbing operation that took place on Wednesday near the “Shilo” illegal settlement north of Ramallah.
The Movement confirmed that the operation is a natural response to the ongoing Israeli massacres and genocide against the Palestinian people, and a direct response to the Israeli serious violations against Palestinian female prisoners.
Hamas stressed that “this heroic operation and other resistance operations are confirmation of the failure of all the occupation’s security and military measures aimed at stifling the resistance in the West Bank, and that our resistance continues to target the enemy’s soldiers, herds and settlers everywhere in our occupied land.”
Hamas also urged “our resistance in the occupied West Bank and our revolutionary youth to intensify their heroic operations and to further align themselves behind the option of resistance until the end of the Israeli occupation.”
Earlier Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot a Palestinian young man after carrying out a ramming and a stabbing attack against Israeli settlers, injuring two of them at the entrance of the Shilo settlement, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The resistance fighter managed to run over the settlers and attempted to stab them before being shot by an armed settler who was in the area.
According to Hebrew media, the IOF shot the attacker and left him bleeding on the road.
