The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in the West Bank and Jerusalem at dawn Friday.
In Occupied Jerusalem, the IOF arrested a number of Jerusalemites from Al-Ram town, hours after arresting four citizens from the Shuafat camp and Anata town.
The Israeli forces stormed the Shuafat camp amid heavy firing of tear gas bombs, before arresting two young men.
Another woman was detained in Anata town, northeast of Jerusalem.
The Israeli forces also arrested a young man after he surrendered himself at the Hizma military checkpoint, east of Occupied Jerusalem, after arresting his wife to pressure him to hand himself over. His wife was released after his arrest.
In a related context, the IOF troops raided Budrus town, west of Ramallah, and were deployed in large numbers throughout its streets.
Similar raids were carried out in Balata, Askar al-Qadeem and al-Jadeed, and al-Ain camps in Nablus. No arrests were reported.
The IOF also stormed Balata camp accompanied by a military bulldozer amid heavy firing of live ammunition and sound bombs, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
