The Hamas Movement said Israel is misleading the international community by claiming to have responded to calls for facilitating aid entry into the northern Gaza Strip, while launching a brutal attack on the city of Beit Hanoun shortly after its allegations.
On Tuesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) besieged 130 families inside shelters and residential neighborhood in Beit Hanoun and forced them to leave their homes at gunpoint and under heavy artillery shelling, before committing a massacre against the Shabat and Al-Kafarna families.
“What is happening in Beit Hanoun is a crime of forced displacement following a mock humanitarian operation, during which the IOF allowed entry of three aid trucks, which citizens of the besieged city could not benefit from,” Hamas said in a press statement.
Hamas called on the international community to immediately work for putting an end to the Israeli starvation, genocide, and war crimes being committed in the Gaza Strip for more than 400 days and the massacre that has been ongoing in northern Gaza for the past 35 days.
