The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) assassinated two Palestinian resistance fighters on Wednesday evening after besieging a house in Ezbet al-Jarad suburb, east of Tulkarem in the West Bank.
Local sources said that two young resistance fighters, Thaer Amara and Ma’mun Shuraim, were martyred in Ezbet al-Jarad suburb after Israeli forces encircled the house of Shuraim and fired live bullets and projectiles at it.
During the IOF operation in the suburb, military reinforcements stormed and spread in the area and blocked all its entrances.
A little child, the son of martyr Thaer Amara, suffered a shrapnel injury in his head and another citizen in his 30s suffered a bullet injury in his shoulder during the same IOF attack on the house.
Following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area, Red Crescent ambulance crews entered the house and evacuated the martyrs and the wounded to the Thabet Thabet Hospital.
