AL-KHALIL, (PIC)
A horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens in Masafer Yatta area, south of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank, under military protection on Saturday.
According to local sources, settlers from the illegal settlement outpost of Havat Ma’on attacked the house of activist Hafed al-Harini in Tuwani village in Masafer Yatta and savagely beat members of his family, injuring two of them in the presence of Israeli soldiers.
Following the settler attacks, the soldiers kidnaped activist Harini with no reason.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked the house of Mohamed Tayeh in Ma’in village, east of Yatta, without making arrests.
