The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Gaza announced the martyrdom of officer Raed Yousef Salem “Abu Al-Bayd” in an Israeli drone attack on Saturday that targeted him along with a group of citizens at the entrance to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Civil Defense pointed out that Salem was martyred after he refused today to leave the northern Gaza Strip and insisted on staying in Kamal Adwan Hospital to help the ambulance crew and medical staff to provide services to the patients and wounded.
The martyrdom of Salem brings the number of Civil Defense members who have been killed since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war on the Strip in October last year to 89 martyrs.
