Israeli occupation forces (IOF) forced the wounded and patients to evacuate the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia town, in northern Gaza Strip, at dawn Tuesday.

Local sources reported that the IOF encircled the hospital and forced the wounded and patients to evacuate, amid artillery shelling targeting the hospital’s vicinity along with other areas of Beit Lahia and the Beit Lahia Project.

The sources explained that the wounded and patients were forced to leave on foot towards Gaza City.

The Ministry of Health said that the Israeli army is intensifying its targeting of the health infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip over the past hours, by besieging and directly targeting the Indonesian Hospital, Kamal Adwan Hospital, and Al-Awda Hospital, in a move aimed at putting them out of service.

The ministry stressed that the Israeli army is forcing the wounded and sick to evacuate the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, while it was bombing, around the clock without stopping, all departments of Kamal Adwan Hospital and its surroundings, with shrapnel scattered inside the hospital’s yards, causing terrifying sounds and serious damage.

It appealed to international and UN institutions and all concerned parties to urgently intervene to protect the health system in the Gaza Strip in the face of this fierce attack.

Israeli artillery also targeted the third floor of Al-Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, causing serious damage inside it, while Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on the Tal al-Zaatar area in Jabalia camp.

For the 81st consecutive day, northern Gaza has been under Israeli siege and starvation amidst violent aerial and artillery bombardment amidst complete isolation from Gaza.

For the 61st day, the IOF has been disrupting civil defense’s work in the northern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, leaving thousands of citizens there with no access to humanitarian and medical aid.
