Two Palestinian citizens were martyred and three others were injured on Monday afternoon in an Israeli airstrike on a car in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that a car burst into flames after an Israeli drone bombed it in Nur Shams camp, adding that two casualties, including a martyr, were evacuated from the site.
Later, other sources said that two resistance fighters from al-Qassam Brigades were martyred in the airstrike.
They were identified as Ihab Abu Utaiwa, the commander of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas in Tulkarem refugee camp, and his comrade Ramez Damiri.
According to Al Jazeera satellite channel, three other citizens suffered injuries in the same Israeli strike on the car.
