Ten citizens were injured on Monday evening due to the explosion of an unexploded remnant from the Israeli occupation army in the town of al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that a remnant from the occupation exploded while a bulldozer was removing the rubble of a destroyed house in the Abd al-Ghafour neighborhood, leading to the injuries.
According to the sources, the condition of four of the injured was described as serious.
The local police had previously instructed the public to report any remnants and to handle rubble and areas that experienced Israeli incursions with caution due to the fact that the occupation army left explosive devices behind it aimed at causing casualties among civilians.
