Several citizens were injured during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the West Bank on Saturday.

In Ramallah, a 15-year-old boy was shot with live ammunition fired by the Israeli army near the Ofer prison, located on the lands of the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah. The Red Crescent reported that its teams in Ramallah dealt with the injury of the boy, who was shot in the thigh, and was transferred to the hospital.

The occupation forces also fired sound bombs and rubber bullets at citizens who gathered near the hill surrounding Ofer, coinciding with the departure of a bus carrying released prisoners from the fourth batch of the prisoners’ exchange agreement.

The attacks by the occupation forces resulted in injuries, including one boy shot with live ammunition, three injuries from rubber bullets, and four injuries from tear gas.

In a related context, a citizen was injured by Israeli occupation forces in the Qaqoun neighborhood of Tulkarem refugee camp. The Red Crescent Society reported that its teams in Tulkarem managed to transfer a 50-year-old man from Tulkarem camp who had been shot in the chest with live ammunition; resuscitation efforts were underway, and he was taken to the hospital.

The occupation forces sent reinforcements of heavy military vehicles and bulldozers to Tulkarem camp and began additional demolition and destruction of infrastructure, as well as citizens’ homes and shops, including the detonation of several of them.

The occupation forces continue to seize dozens of homes within the camp and its outskirts, converting them into military barracks and sniper positions.
