The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their siege and aggression on Jenin and its refugee camp for the 34th consecutive day Sunday, resulting in the deaths of 28 martyrs, one of whom was shot by the Palestinian Authority’s security forces, along with dozens injured and arrested, amidst unprecedented destruction.
The IOF stormed the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin, accompanied by military bulldozers, on Sunday morning and began bulldozing streets and destroying infrastructure, especially around the Al-Quds roundabout. IOF soldiers raided several buildings and homes in the town, searched them, interrogated the residents, and closed the Al-Shuhada roundabout at the town’s entrance and part of the Jenin-Nablus road.
The IOF sent new military reinforcements to the city of Jenin and its camp as part of the ongoing aggression.
The occupation army has forcibly displaced more than 40,000 citizens, destroyed hundreds of homes, and bulldozed streets and infrastructure, leaving widespread devastation.
The occupation army continues to seize a number of citizens’ homes, converting them into military barracks and imposing a blockade on entry and exit from the refugee camp, with the presence of snipers at all times.
On January 21, the IOF began a military aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, resulting in dozens of martyrs, injured, and arrested, which later extended to Tulkarem and Tubas.
