The Hamas Movement said the Israeli occupation’s aggression and systematic terrorism against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank will not succeed in breaking the spirit of resistance among the Palestinians. It will rather increase their adherence to their land and their determination to confront the occupation and thwart its plans, Hamas added.
The Movement stressed in a statement on Saturday that the occupation’s demolition of homes and buildings in the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarem, and forced displacement of its residents, is a serious violation of international law and shows Israel’s insistence on committing war crimes in full view of the world.
Hamas warned against the consequences of the prevailing international silence towards the Israeli occupation’s crimes, calling on the United Nations and its institutions to take immediate and effective action to stop Israel’s horrific ongoing violations of international laws.
The head of the services committee in Nur Shams camp announced that “the occupation demolished and burned 211 houses in the camp and displaced about 13,000 citizens during its ongoing aggression on the camp.”
