The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Saturday evening a number of Palestinian citizens and assaulted others during its ongoing large-scale violations in the West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli forces kidnaped five young men from Bruqin town and another one from Kafr ad-Dik town in western Salfit.
In southern al-Khalil, Israeli soldiers abetted a horde of extremist Jewish settlers in their attack on Palestinian homes in Masafer Yatta area.
Local sources said that armed settlers from the illegal outpost of Havat Ma’on opened fire at homes in Wadi al-Jawaya area in Masafer Yatta in an attempt to steal sheep belonging to the local residents, prompting the local residents to try to protect their property.
However, Israeli soldiers assaulted the local residents and fired stun grenades and flares at them, injuring a number of them.
In Ramallah, a group of settlers torched a vehicle belonging to a Palestinian in Silwad town.
Settler violence has long gone largely unchecked, particularly since October 7, 2023.
In eastern Nablus, four Palestinian young men were injured on the same day when Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition during skirmishes with local youths in Beit Furik town.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed Beit Furik and raided homes, provoking clashes with local youths.
In Tulkarem, the IOF embarked yesterday on demolishing 11 homes in Nur Shams camp as part of its large-scale displacement and destruction campaign in the northern West Bank.
The IOF also stormed different areas of the West Bank, including al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil and multiple towns in Nablus province.
