TULKAREM, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have continued on Tuesday its aggression on the city of Tulkarem and its two camps for the 37th day, amidst a military escalation, a stifling siege, storming homes, and displacement of the residents.

Israeli military reinforcements including heavy armored vehicles and a fuel tanker were called on into the city and were stationed in front of the residential buildings on Nablus Street, which links the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps.

The IOF has been imposing a tight siege on the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, blocking movement within the two camps and deploying its foot patrols in their vicinities, inside their neighborhoods, alleys, and homes, vandalizing and destroying their contents, and subjecting the residents to field interrogations and forced displacement at gunpoint, firing live bullets and stun grenades to terrorize them.

Israeli troops have escalated their demolition and burning of homes and facilities in the neighborhoods of Nur Shams camp, in addition to the complete destruction they caused to the infrastructure, including electricity, water, sewage and communications networks.

In Tulkarem camp, the IOF sent additional reinforcements into the camp, firing live ammunition, and broadcasting provocative sounds to terrorize citizens inside their homes located on the outskirts of the camp, especially at late hours of the night.

The residents who remained in their homes are now suffering from difficult living conditions due to the lack of food and medical supplies. Their appeals continue for the entry of basic supplies, as the IOF is obstructing the work of relief crews, including the Red Crescent Society, and blocking the delivery of humanitarian aid and evacuating the sick.

Meanwhile, the IOF arrested the young man Nour al-Tahal at dawn today after raiding a residential building in the Ertah suburb south of the city, and the young man Adham Tanji from his home in the Shuweika suburb north of the city.

The eastern suburb of Thenaba was also stormed by infantry soldiers who were patrolling its streets. Though, no arrests have been reported.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Tulkarem city and its two camps has resulted so far in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight-month pregnant.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the injury and arrest of dozens of others and led to forced displacement of more than 9,000 citizens from Nur Shams camp, and 12,000 others from Tulkarem camp, in addition to the accompanying demolition and bulldozing operations, which have recently affected more than 25 homes in the two camps.
