The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll of the Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,446 martyrs in addition to 111,852 wounded since October 7, 2023.
The ministry said in its statistical report on Palestinian martyrs and wounded that “six bodies of martyrs were recovered from under the rubble and transferred to Gaza hospitals during the past 24 hours,” adding that seven Palestinians were injured in fresh Israeli attacks.
It noted that many other victims are still under the rubble and on the roads as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them due to lack of equipment.
Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement came into effect on January 19, until the end of the ceasefire first phase last Saturday evening, the Israeli occupation committed more than 900 violations, according to data published by the Hamas Movement.
Israeli violations include aerial and artillery bombardment, intensive drone flights, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid, shooting at citizens, demolishing homes, targeting cars, preventing the entry of fuel, obstructing the entry of civil defense vehicles and heavy machinery, and preventing the entry of tents and mobile homes.
