Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the city of Nablus and various areas in Bethlehem on Saturday, while Israeli fanatic settlers attacked citizens’ properties in Al-Khalil.
Local sources reported that the IOF stormed Nablus from the western neighborhoods, raided a residential building near the Zawata junction, and destroyed the contents of a house belonging to the Sunober family.
The IOF soldiers were heavily deployed around Al-Quds Open University, the Pharmacists Housing and the Al-Maajin neighborhoods to the west, amid search operations in the area which has been subjected to repetitive raids for more than three weeks, the sources added.
Meanwhile, the IOF broke into various areas of Bethlehem Governorate, mainly the town of Beit Fajjar and the villages of Marah Rabah and Um Salamouna to the south. Local sources added that the IOF raided the town of Nahalin to the west and set up a military checkpoint at its northern entrance and obstructed the movement of the citizens.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked citizens and their property in Masafer Yatta, south of Al-Khalil, under the protection of the IOF, which arrested three citizens.
The Media activist Osama Makhamreh said that Jewish settlers attacked citizens and their property, and released their livestock towards the citizens’ crops and near their homes in the village of Khallet al-Dabaa in Masafer Yatta.
He added that the residents confronted the settlers and forced them out of their farms, as Israeli troops intervened to protect the settlers, and began searching the village before abusing, assaulting and arresting three citizens.
